Burning Permits can be obtained at Station 1 or at Roscoe’s the local community store within our community.

Burn permits can also be submitted electronically through the North Carolina Forest Service website. 

Please keep in mind that our fire department’s primary focus is responding to emergency calls. There may be occasions when all staff members are out on an emergency call and not present at the station to greet you. The duration of their absence can vary significantly depending on the situation. We kindly ask for your understanding and suggest that you take note of this possibility when planning your visit to the fire department.
